Fabio Burgener’s practice focuses on general criminal law, business crime and international legal assistance. He also assists private individuals and public authorities in asset location and recovery, contractual and financial disputes, and personal injury cases. In addition to his work as a lawyer, he teaches at the University of Geneva’s Faculty of Law, and sits as a deputy judge of the Criminal Court of First Instance. He is also the author of numerous publications on criminal law. Fabio Burgener was admitted to the Geneva Bar in 2017, and joined Keppeler Avocats in 2020 as an associate, after two and a half years with a well-known Geneva law firm specializing in white collar crime. He practises in French, English, German and Italian. He is a member of numerous associations, including the Swiss Bar Association, the Swiss Society of Criminal Law and the Association romande des spécialistes en droit pénal, he also serves in the criminal law commission of the Geneva Bar Association.
