Fabio Burgener provides advice to individuals, corporations, and public entities in criminal law matters, with a focus on white-collar crime, cybercrime, medical malpractice, and personality rights. His area of expertise also covers asset tracing and recovery, as well as contractual and financial litigation. Admitted to the Geneva Bar in 2017, he works in French, English, German, and Italian.

Alongside his legal practice, Fabio Burgener teaches at the Universities of Geneva and Lausanne. Holder of a doctorate in law, he regularly publishes and gives lectures in the field of criminal law, including on asset confiscation and equivalent claims, and the admissibility of unlawfully obtained evidence. He also sits in the capacity of Deputy Judge at the Criminal Court of First Instance of the Canton of Geneva.

He is a member of several professional associations, including the Swiss Bar Association, the Association of French-Speaking Specialists in Criminal Law, and Innocence Project Switzerland, and contributes actively to the Criminal Law Commission of the Geneva Bar Association.
